Ride Clean Code of Conduct

Ride Clean is the first dedicated professional bicycle cleaning service in London. We pride ourselves on this achievement and strive to hold this number one spot by all that we do. We clean every bike with the same high standard, no matter the type or quality of the bike itself; paying meticulous attention to detail in all we do.

Our culture is one of genuine hospitality; we are highly visible from our cargo bikes and we use this opportunity to promote considerate cycling. We are quickly building a reputation of reliable, consistent service for all our customers and it is the duty of all our staff to embody this culture and further grow our community.

Our code of conduct sets the standards of behaviour by which we are all to behave, and this extends to all interactions with colleagues, clients, business partners and investors.

CODE OF CONDUCT

Clothing and appearance Take pride in representing Ride Clean and ensure that all of your clothing is clean and you are well presented for all engagements whether it is workshop based or directly client facing.

Responsibilities Everyone in Ride Clean has particular responsibilities, including: Leading by example Promoting good ethical behaviour and business conduct Complying with all laws and regulations Promoting an environment where your fellow team members feel confident

Zero tolerance Unsafe, illegal or unethical working practices Violence and aggression Discrimination, bullying and harassment Bribery and corruption Retaliation against anyone who speaks up and does the right thing

Workplace safety We work to ensure the workplace safety of our team. We expect all our team to play their part in this by ensuring they have the right equipment, training and knowledge to guarantee a safe working environment. Quite simply, if it isn’t safe, don’t do it. Stop and inform your Ride Clean contact.

Drugs and alcohol Ride Clean operates a drug-free workplace. While representing Ride Clean in any location you are strictly prohibited from using or being under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs.

Smoking Ride Clean does not permit smoking in areas that can be considered buildings or vehicles associated with the Ride Clean or the Client.

Engagement All engagements, including term, fees and conditions will be made by Ride Clean. Contractors may not seek to make, modify or otherwise interfere with these arrangements by direct negotiation with or lobbying of the client.

Vehicle Usage When using company vehicles you are representing Ride Clean and must promote safe cycling whether in a car, van or bicycle or cargo bike to name just a few. No headphones are to be worn Company issue uniform must be worn You must obey the rules of the road

Breach of our Code of Conduct may be held to constitute a breach under the Contractor Agreement
